Biography:Kim Seok-jin, known professionally as Jin, is a South Korean singer and songwriter under Big Hit Music. He is a member of the boy group BTS. Jin has released three self-composed digital singles, Tonight (2019), Abyss (2020) and Super Tuna (2021). He made his official debut as a solo artist in 2022, with the release of the single The Astronaut. In October 2024, Jin released an extended version of his 2021 single Super Tuna, along with a new music video. The following month, he released his debut mini album, Happy, which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard World Albums chart and number 4 on Billboard 200. In 2025, Jin released his second album, Echo, which charted at number 3 on Billboard 200. That same year, he embarked on his first solo concert tour, the RunSeokjin Ep. Tour. In 2018, he was awarded the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea, along with the other members of BTS, for his contributions to Korean culture.
